Description

A borehole pump is a pump that is placed in a well to pump up water. A borehole pump is used where the water level is too deep for a centrifugal pump to operate. The advantage is that there are no problems in filling the pump with water or the water level being too low for operation. Because the pump is placed in the ground there is no noise nuisance, the pump is not visible and neither does it take up extra space. Borehole pumps are usually used for pumping up groundwater which is then used in a range of applications. By using a borehole pump with a control unit, the pump responds automatically to water requirements.
